This Circa-1826 building served as the district courthouse for the past twenty-five years. It is located behind the Newport Opera House and features an elegant dining room and full service bar.
THIS FAMILY-OWNED BUSINESS has carefully preserved the elegance and simplicity of the building to provide a unique dining experience.
Lunch: Wednesday -Saturday 11:30 am – 2:00 pm
Dinner: Wednesday -Saturday 5:00 pm – between 7:30 and 8:30
Brunch Buffet: Sunday 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

The Old Courthouse, a Newport dining institution, has been selected by the editors of New Hampshire magazine as Best of NH 2018 for Historic Dining.
The Best of NH Awards given annually by the magazine are in two categories: Peoples’ Choice, based on votes submitted, so many honorees are in the more populated southeastern part of the state and Editors’ Choice, selected by the magazine.
The Old Courthouse was awarded Editors’ Choice.
